You've heard of them, seen them on Vimeo and Youtube, but what are they?

Just as how Film and TV are advertised via a small snippet or clip known as a Trailer, books are now evolving into the same.

A book trailer is simply a graphical preview of your book, highlighting some of the key aspects to trigger a sense of interest in the viewer. Book Trailers have an unlimited potential for creativity, and a quick search on Youtube can avail anything from amazing videos to terrible PowerPoint presentations and everything in between.

The book trailer can include highlighted scenes from the book, author interviews, read out excerpts, information about the book, or quotes from the book.

 

How much does a trailer cost?

Simple 2D images and text trailers of less than 30 seconds can start from $500, ranging up to $15,000 for up to five minutes including sound/audio voiceover, CGI, SFX motion graphics, and all the way up to $20,000 for acted out scenes and animations.

 

At Iron Heart, we try to make things simpler and offer the best. We have 3 packages for you to choose from, all based on need, requirement, and budget:

 

• Package 1: Title Trailer
  45 seconds.
  Includes Four Title animations with Two Custom backgrounds and a simple soundtrack to accompany. The trailer is a compact and bespoke text video, visually striking and captivating, custom fitted to the theme and message of the book. We have tailored this package as essential to every author's basic marketing plan, and most importantly suitable for every author's marketing budget.
  Upgrades include Voice-overs, Standard Score, and Basic VFX (Video effects).
   

 

• Package 2: Graphic Trailer
  90 seconds
  Includes 10 to 15 Title animations, with 5 to 7 custom backgrounds, an original score, 2 stock footages all tailored to suit the theme of the book.
  This is a standard scale production with optional upgrades including Voice-over work and Advanced VFX.
   

• Package 3: Director's Cut
  Up to 240 seconds
  This is the full and complete package which incorporates title animations along with custom graphics, acted out scenes, Voice-overs, Original Score and Specialized Video Effects all included to render out the best production for your book.
